My professional life began in service. I spent six years as an infantryman in the United States Army, including a deployment to Afghanistan. After leaving the military, I entered law enforcement and worked my way into a specialized unit. Those experiences taught me how to lead, remain composed under pressure, pay attention to details, and take responsibility for the people and work entrusted to me.

My path into construction began through real estate investing and house flipping. Working on my own properties gave me firsthand experience with renovation budgets, schedules, design decisions, and the challenges property owners face when bringing a project to life.

I later became a project manager for a high-end custom home builder in Louisiana. There, I was mentored by a builder with more than 20 years of experience and gained an inside understanding of the entire custom-home process—from planning and coordinating trades to managing fine details and meeting the standards expected in high-end construction.

That combination of hands-on investing, project management, and mentorship led me to become a licensed builder and establish J2 Construction. Today, our work includes renovations, investment properties, new-construction homes built for sale, and fully custom homes.

Because I’ve approached construction as an investor, property owner, project manager, and builder, I understand projects from multiple perspectives. I know that a successful build requires more than quality workmanship—it also takes careful planning, honest communication, sound financial decisions, and consistent follow-through.

Outside of work, I’m a husband and father. My faith and family remain at the center of my life and shape the way I lead J2 Construction, serve our clients, and build a reputation meant to last.
